An additional bedroom, study area and bathroom were added at ground floor level by reconfiguring the former entrance and hallway, effectively converting this three bedroom two bathroom house into one with four bedrooms and three bathrooms thereby adding considerable value as well as improved living space.

Improvements included a new bespoke John Lewis of Hungerford kitchen, Fired Earth bathrooms, complete replacement of the electrical, lighting and central heating systems including the installation of underfloor heating throughout the ground floor beneath wooden flooring. The floor levels to the majority of the ground floor were lowered in order to achieve this and to create better head clearance below the beamed ceilings.

The building received extensive damp-proofing treatment, roof and brickwork repairs and a secondary entrance was installed to the south facing side of the house leading to a newly created sunken walled patio area with wooden decking. The garden was completely re-landscaped with a new driveway, retainer walls and an extensive lawn to the front bordered with new hedging, plants and trees as well as automated entrance gates and an exterior flood lighting system.
